100th Anniversary of Anne

What a fabulous day it was. A moment of rain first thing and the rain held off after that and even cleared in the afternoon to sunshine. A great turnout was enjoyed. Come to Anne of Green Gables Day in Norval, Ontario and enjoy photographs from Lucy Maud Montgomery's private collection taken when she lived in Norval 1926 - 1935 donated by the University of Guelph.

As well, an "Anne" look-a-like contest, Norval United Church is having a Strawberry Festival, Norval Presbyterian Church is holding a Victorian Luncheon, St. Paul's Anglican Church is hosting The Village Candy Shop, there will be local entertainment, a colouring contest, raspberry cordial, readings and more.
