Visit the Lucy Maud Montgomery Museum located at Crawford's Village Bakeshop, Norval, Ontario. Â Famous Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery moved to Norval, Ontario with her Presbyterian husband, Rev. Ewan Macdonald and two sons, Chester and Stuart in February 1926. During the next nine years L.M. Montgomery published seven books and completed two and half volumes of her personal journals. She penned her books in the upstairs bedroom of the Presbyterian manse, facing Russell's Hills of Pines which is still preserved today. November 29th Saturday ~ Montgomery Christmas - Three Church Christmas Bazaars, readings, guest speakers, book signing and L.M. Montgomery's handwritten cookbook on display.
